Responsibility
- Translate written and verbal communications between Indonesian and Mandarin with high accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Assist in interpreting during meetings, negotiations, and conferences to ensure smooth cross-language discussions.
- Review and edit translated documents, including business reports, contracts, and marketing materials, to maintain consistency and professionalism.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to localize content for target audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and clarity.
- Develop and maintain a glossary of industry-specific terminology to standardize translations across projects.
- Provide language support for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
- Stay updated on linguistic trends, industry jargon, and cultural nuances in both Indonesian and Mandarin.
- Assist in drafting bilingual content for digital platforms, including websites, social media, and promotional materials.
Qualifications
- Fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin (written and verbal), with a proven ability to translate complex texts accurately.
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Literature, or a related field. Certification in translation is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional translation experience, preferably in a business or corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and the ability to adapt translations to suit the target audience.
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using translation tools (e.g., CAT tools, Trados) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
