As a Gardener, you will play a vital role in preserving the aesthetic appeal of our outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain vibrant, well-kept, and inviting for guests. Responsibility
- Maintain and enhance the hotel’s gardens, lawns, and green spaces to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Plant, prune, and fertilize trees, shrubs, and flowers to promote healthy growth and seasonal blooms.
- Mow, edge, and trim lawns, and remove weeds or debris from walkways and common areas.
- Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment, including lawnmowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems.
- Design and implement seasonal landscaping projects to align with the hotel’s aesthetic and brand standards.
- Monitor plant health, identify pests or diseases, and apply appropriate treatments.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure outdoor areas are safe and functional for guests.
- Assist in setting up outdoor spaces for events, ensuring they are visually appealing and guest-ready.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Gardener, Landscaper, or in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or resort setting.
- Strong knowledge of tropical plants, soil types, and gardening techniques suitable for Bali’s climate.
- Ability to use and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Creative eye for landscape design and attention to detail in plant arrangement and maintenance.
- Basic understanding of pest control and plant health management.
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with sustainable gardening practices is a plus.
