Responsibility
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
- Measure and mix ingredients, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, and assist in ordering as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and workstation in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and seasonal specialties to attract and retain customers.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers, ensuring proper functionality.
- Assist in packaging and displaying finished products attractively for retail and wholesale customers.
- Follow all food handling, storage, and hygiene protocols to ensure product quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook, Baker, or in a similar role within a bakery, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and food safety standards.
- Ability to read and follow recipes precisely, with a creative touch for customization.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy ingredients, and work in a warm kitchen environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with Indonesian and international baking styles is a plus.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and cost control.
