Responsibility
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and guest lounges.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with essential supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all assigned areas to maintain a pristine environment.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly to prevent overflow and odors.
- Polish surfaces, including glass, mirrors, and furniture, to ensure a sparkling finish.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor for prompt resolution.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in a hospitality or tourism setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to schedules.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment, with a focus on safety.
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with team members and guests.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
