Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and cold brew, with precision and consistency.
- Engage with customers warmly, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Educate guests about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance their appreciation.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and brewers, to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the team to manage inventory, restock supplies, and assist in daily opening/closing procedures.
- Handle cash transactions and POS operations accurately while providing efficient service.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, new recipes, and industry best practices to elevate service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a high-volume café, roastery, or hospitality setting (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of coffee bean origins, roasting profiles, and flavor notes.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
