Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and assist in restocking as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee station, counters, and seating areas.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless operations during peak hours.
- Stay updated on the latest coffee trends, techniques, and equipment to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Barista certification or additional training in Food & Beverage is highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel, resort, or specialty café.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including brewing methods and latte art.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for coffee and a desire to continuously improve and innovate.
