Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of production operators to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing operations.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to process controls, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate production schedules, ensuring timely completion of orders in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and logistics teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production supervision role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume production settings with frequent changeovers.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Familiarity with ERP systems, production planning tools, and quality management systems.
