Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet quality, safety, and efficiency targets.
- Lead, mentor, and train production staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to optimize output and minimize downtime.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain product standards and compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., logistics, procurement) to streamline supply chain and inventory management.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies in all operational areas.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, challenges, and action plans to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. Diploma holders with extensive experience may also apply.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production supervision or a similar leadership role within manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record of managing teams, improving operational efficiency, and reducing costs.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in production management software (e.g., ERP, MES) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, HSE regulations, and quality management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
