Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and material availability.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve operational productivity.
- Liaise with sales and customer service teams to align production plans with client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging industry.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
