Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials and components to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for production lines according to work orders and schedules.
- Operate manual and automated material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in physical inventory audits to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to resolve material shortages or discrepancies.
- Adhere to all workplace safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to optimize workflow and reduce hazards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or production support.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (IMS) or ERP software is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, bills of materials (BOM), and shipping documents.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 25–30 kg and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, Excel) for tracking inventory and generating reports.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in forklift operation or material handling equipment is advantageous.
