Responsibility
- Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize shortages or excess.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, and processing purchase orders.
- Oversee the distribution of materials and finished goods to meet production and delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, supplier agreements, and logistics documentation.
- Develop and implement inventory control systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Liaise with production, warehouse, and finance teams to align inventory needs with budget and operational goals.
- Conduct regular audits to verify stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare reports on inventory status, procurement costs, and supplier performance for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production administration, inventory management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in record-keeping.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
