Responsibility
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive product opportunities.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers to secure high-quality materials and products at optimal costs.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable, ethical, and cost-effective sourcing.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and production teams to develop new product concepts and refine existing lines.
- Analyze product performance data to make data-driven decisions on inventory, pricing, and product improvements.
- Oversee sample development and prototyping, ensuring products meet quality, design, and compliance standards.
- Monitor industry regulations and certification requirements to ensure all products adhere to legal and ethical standards.
- Prepare and present sourcing reports and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of identifying profitable products and building supplier networks.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to work with international suppliers.
- Proficiency in market research tools and data analysis (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, or industry-specific software).
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) and quality control processes.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
