Responsibility
- Develop detailed technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to refine product concepts and ensure feasibility.
- Create and maintain accurate design documentation, including specifications, bills of materials, and assembly instructions.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in prototyping and testing phases to validate design functionality and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to enhance product innovation.
- Ensure all designs adhere to company guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in project meetings to provide technical insights and support project timelines.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing technical drawings and product designs.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.) and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise, high-quality technical documentation.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovative design solutions.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to product design and safety.
