Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate existing ones for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
