Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and procure raw materials, equipment, and services in alignment with production requirements and budget constraints.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities to optimize procurement strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier communications in the company’s ERP system.
- Collaborate with finance, logistics, and production teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Resolve discrepancies in deliveries, invoices, or quality issues with suppliers in a timely manner.
- Prepare reports on procurement metrics, cost savings, and supplier performance for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or chemical industries.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP or procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
