Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify cost-effective suppliers for raw materials, components, and services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with local and overseas vendors to secure favorable agreements.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to optimize procurement strategies.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including request for quotes (RFQ), purchase orders, and supplier evaluations.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining quality standards and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with finance, production, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with inventory and budget requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications using ERP or procurement software.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and risk mitigation in the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
