Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services by preparing purchase orders, requests for quotations, and bids.
- Support the team in vendor evaluation and selection processes to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain and update procurement records, databases, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and compare pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather procurement requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers under the guidance of senior procurement staff.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in forecasting demand to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and cost-saving strategies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Basic understanding of procurement principles, supply chain management, and vendor relations.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive procurement information.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
