Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of material master data processes and systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Consult and collaborate with Global Marketing teams to align product information strategies with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance stakeholders' understanding of material master management, ensuring adoption and compliance.
- Monitor and analyze data quality metrics, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to material master data, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Partner with IT and other functional teams to integrate material master processes with enterprise systems, such as ERP and PIM platforms.
- Document best practices, process flows, and standard operating procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency across the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data management, recommending innovative solutions to enhance Hilti’s competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in material master management, product information management (PIM), or data governance roles, preferably in a global organization.
- Proven expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and PIM tools, with hands-on experience in data modeling, validation, and migration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams across different cultures and time zones.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs to diverse audiences, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a high degree of self-motivation and accountability.
