Responsibility
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality assurance, and maintenance) to implement process improvements.
- Design and optimize workflows using Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other continuous improvement frameworks.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, yield, and defect rates, and report findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, and industry-specific standards for safety and quality.
- Train and mentor staff on new processes, tools, and best practices to foster a culture of operational excellence.
- Lead or participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action initiatives to resolve recurring issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in process optimization, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt certification is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, or ERP systems).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CAD software, simulation tools, or automation systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication and project management skills to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
