Responsibility
- Develop, optimize, and monitor manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency in abrasives production.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, R&D, Production) to ensure seamless process integration and adherence to FEPA standards.
- Design and execute continuous improvement projects (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to reduce waste and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, OSHA) in all manufacturing operations.
- Lead process validation and documentation for new product introductions or equipment modifications.
- Analyze production data using statistical tools (SPC, Minitab) to identify trends and recommend process adjustments.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, SOPs, and troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in process engineering within manufacturing (abrasives, coatings, or similar industries preferred).
- Proven track record in process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM methodologies (Green Belt/Black Belt certification advantageous).
- Hands-on experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen, COMSOL) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant industry standards.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (relocation assistance provided).
