Responsibility
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks 3D CAD software, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Perform simulations and analyses to validate design performance, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics studies.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and sustainability while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and incorporating suggestions to improve product functionality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during prototyping and production phases.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical design technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in mechanical design using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in performing simulations and analyses (e.g., FEA, CFD) to validate design performance.
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and creating detailed technical drawings.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, ANSI, or ASME.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
