Responsibility
- Operate prime movers safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Ensure the timely delivery of goods to designated locations, maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate authorities and management.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both internally and externally.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations, including those related to driving hours, rest periods, and load securement.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid Class 3 or 3A driving license.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic regulations.
- Good physical health and ability to handle the demands of long-distance driving.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
