Responsibility
- Lead the design and presentation of end-to-end data centre solutions, including cloud, hybrid, and on-premise architectures.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify client pain points and propose technically viable, cost-effective solutions.
- Develop proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and demonstrations to showcase solution capabilities to stakeholders.
- Provide technical expertise during RFP/RFI processes, ensuring proposals meet client requirements and compliance standards.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies (e.g., hyperconvergence, SDN, AI-driven infrastructure) and integrate them into client roadmaps.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams on data centre best practices.
- Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure seamless solution implementation and handover.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key technology partners (e.g., Cisco, Dell, VMware, AWS).
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Masterâs preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data centre architecture, pre-sales, or solutions engineering.
- Proven track record in designing and selling complex IT infrastructure solutions (servers, storage, networking, virtualization).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud strategies.
- Certifications in Cisco (CCNP/CCIE), VMware (VCP), or cloud provider accreditations are a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in APAC markets and familiarity with regional compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PDPA).
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
