We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented PPIC Manager with a strong background in metal manufacturing to join our dynamic team in Tangerang. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our production efficiency, ensuring that the right quantity of metal components and finished goods are produced precisely when needed.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of production planning, inventory control, and supply chain synchronization. Your primary goal is to optimize production flow, minimize inventory holding costs, and eliminate line stoppages through proactive planning and effective cross-departmental collaboration. Responsibility
- Develop and manage master production schedules (MPS) to ensure timely delivery of metal components.
- Monitor production progress, address bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to prevent line stoppages.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance service levels with cost-efficiency, reducing excess raw material and finished goods stock.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless material flow.
- Analyze production performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee capacity planning to ensure resources (manpower and machinery) are utilized effectively.
- Maintain accurate data in the ERP system to ensure visibility into stock levels and production status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in PPIC or Production Planning within the metal manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local manufacturing modules) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and JIT (Just-In-Time) inventory methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; professional proficiency in English is highly preferred.
