Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, and control panels.
- Monitor and troubleshoot electrical faults in transit infrastructure to minimize downtime and ensure operational safety.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on high-voltage equipment and backup power systems (e.g., UPS, generators).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and efficiency improvements.
- Document all maintenance activities, test results, and repairs in compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
- Respond to emergency power outages or system failures with rapid, effective solutions.
- Adhere to strict safety procedures, including lockout-tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements, in all work environments.
- Assist in training junior technicians and sharing technical knowledge with the team.
Qualifications
- Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in power system maintenance, preferably in transit, industrial, or utility sectors.
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, AC/DC circuits, and protective relaying.
- Certification in electrical safety (e.g., NFPA 70E, local equivalents) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous.
