Join Cora Environment as a Plant Operations Manager for our cutting-edge Energy-from-Waste (EfW) facility in Bali. Responsibility
- Oversee and manage all operational aspects of the Energy-from-Waste (EfW) plant, including waste reception, processing, and energy generation.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and train a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and operators to achieve operational targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to address deviations and improve plant reliability.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Manage budgets, control operational costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
- Liaise with government agencies, stakeholders, and community groups to ensure transparent and sustainable plant operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in plant operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the waste management, energy, or environmental sector.
- Proven track record of managing Energy-from-Waste (EfW), biomass, or similar industrial facilities with a focus on operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, safety standards (OSHA, ISO 14001, etc.), and waste-to-energy technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control for large-scale industrial operations.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, process automation, and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and work in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
