Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate records of pharmaceutical inventory, ensuring stock levels are optimal and shortages are promptly addressed.
- Receive, inspect, and store pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company protocols.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to place orders and monitor delivery schedules.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for medications, including temperature control and security measures.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on inventory usage, expiration dates, and stock movements.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support efficient dispensing and distribution of medications.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of pharmaceutical waste.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Pharmacy, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacy inventory management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, storage requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with local healthcare regulations and standards is a plus.
