Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including stocking and restocking shelves.
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering inquiries and offering product recommendations.
- Process and handle cash transactions, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Assist in labeling, packaging, and preparing medications for distribution.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing prescriptions, updating patient records, and managing orders.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; certification in pharmacy assistance is a plus.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, or customer service role is advantageous but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and healthcare professionals.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with pharmacy management software (training provided).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic pharmaceutical practices is a bonus.
