Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including stocking and rotating medications.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients, answering inquiries, and processing orders.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and prescriptions.
- Prepare and label medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and pharmacy standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy workspace.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and insurance claim processing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in pharmacy assistance is a plus.
- Proven experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical products.
