Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Manage inventory by ordering, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies.
- Process prescriptions and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation of compounded medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Educate patients on proper medication usage, storage, and potential side effects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in pharmacy assistance is a plus.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
