Skills Development Academy is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager (SEM) to lead our search engine marketing initiatives across Bali and beyond. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in paid search, analytics, and consumer behavior to drive measurable growth for our educational programs.

Based in Bali’s vibrant digital hub (with flexibility across Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, and other key locations), you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine our SEM strategy, maximize ROI, and scale high-impact campaigns. Responsibility

  • Develop and execute data-driven SEM strategies to achieve KPIs for lead generation and enrollment.
  • Manage end-to-end Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns, including keyword research, bid optimization, and A/B testing.
  • Analyze consumer search trends and competitor landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to create high-converting ad creatives and landing pages.
  • Monitor campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or SimilarWeb, and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Optimize budget allocation across campaigns to maximize ROI and reduce CPA.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in paid search, AI-driven advertising, and privacy-compliant targeting.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on SEM best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing SEM campaigns with a proven track record of success.
  • Certification in Google Ads (Search, Display, or Shopping) is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Data Studio).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Optmyzr, WordStream) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with global teams and present insights.
  • Passion for education, edtech, or skills development is a bonus.
