Responsibility
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules, including Student Records, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Academic Advising.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design tailored solutions that align with institutional goals.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for student information systems (SIS), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, documentation, and support materials for end-users and IT teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performing system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning as needed.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, database administrators, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Stay current with the latest PeopleSoft updates, Oracle technologies, and trends in higher education to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including demonstrations, proposals, and client presentations to showcase GECO Asia’s expertise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Consultant or in a similar role, with a focus on Student Systems, Campus Community, or Financial Aid modules.
- Proven track record of successful PeopleSoft implementations, upgrades, or migrations in higher education or large-scale environments.
- Strong knowledge of PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, and SQL for customization and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
- Certification in Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Southeast Asia for client engagements.
