Responsibility
- Process and manage end-to-end payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Calculate salaries, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll-related components in compliance with Indonesian labor laws.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, tax filings, and statutory contributions (BPJS, PPh 21, etc.).
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with the finance and HR teams.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and other statutory requirements to relevant authorities.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits in a professional and confidential manner.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements in Indonesia.
- Implement and improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in Indonesia.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory contributions (BPJS, PPh 21).
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local payroll systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment with minimal supervision.
