Responsibility
- Process monthly payroll for employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee details, salaries, deductions, and benefits.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data, including tax calculations, social security contributions, and other statutory deductions.
- Generate and distribute pay slips to employees in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing payroll reports for management and external audits.
- Liaise with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary adjustments to processes.
- Support the preparation of year-end payroll activities, including bonuses and tax filings.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role, preferably in a multinational or diverse work environment.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables are a plus).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and stakeholders.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Familiarity with Indonesian labor laws and payroll regulations is advantageous.
- Organized, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
