Responsibility
- Process and verify payroll data, including employee hours, deductions, and benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of payroll reports, payslips, and tax documents for employees and management.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and payroll software, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with HR, finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll discrepancies, address employee inquiries, and facilitate smooth payroll operations.
- Support month-end and year-end payroll activities, including reconciliations, audits, and reporting to ensure timely and accurate financial closures.
- Assist in the implementation of payroll-related projects, such as system upgrades, process improvements, and compliance updates.
- Provide administrative support to the payroll team, including filing, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
- Stay updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payroll administration, HR support, or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies in data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll compliance is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage confidential information, and adapt to changing priorities in a remote work environment.
