Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests with precision.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment processing through various methods (ACH, wire transfers, checks).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to validate payment approvals and documentation.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding payments to maintain cash flow.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and prepare reports for management review.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and financial best practices to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for vendor and internal stakeholder interactions.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
