As the Finance Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of our shared services center. Responsibility
- Lead the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, reduce costs, and improve accuracy.
- Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to align financial strategies and reporting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor and develop finance team members to foster a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance standards.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience in the logistics or shipping industry is highly desirable.
