Indah Subur Sejati is currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Pattern Maker to join our growing production team in Jakarta Barat. In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between creative vision and tangible fashion, transforming initial sketches and design concepts into high-quality, wearable products.
As a Pattern Maker at Indah Subur Sejati, you will be responsible for ensuring that all patterns are drafted with absolute accuracy to maintain our brand's reputation for quality. You will collaborate closely with designers, sample makers, and the production team to streamline the development process, optimize fabric utilization, and ensure technical excellence in every garment produced.
Responsibility
- Draft, grade, and digitize accurate clothing patterns based on design specifications and technical sketches.
- Collaborate with the design team to interpret concepts and provide technical feedback on garment feasibility.
- Perform fit sessions and make necessary adjustments to patterns to ensure optimal garment silhouette and sizing consistency.
- Create and maintain technical specification sheets (tech packs) to ensure clear communication with the production floor.
- Analyze and optimize fabric markers to improve efficiency and reduce material waste.
- Troubleshoot production-related issues regarding pattern construction and assembly.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, sewing techniques, and pattern-making software.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Pattern Maker in the garment or apparel manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in manual pattern making and familiar with CAD/CAM pattern software (e.g., Gerber, Lectra, or Optitex).
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and sewing techniques.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform under tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team.
- Excellent communication skills to translate design intent into technical instructions.
