Responsibility
- Greet and assist patients with professionalism, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in process.
- Manage patient scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling using digital or manual systems.
- Handle registration processes, including verifying patient information, insurance details, and required documentation.
- Process billing inquiries, explain charges, and assist with payment collections or financial arrangements.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely patient records and test results.
- Maintain a clean, organized front-desk area and ensure all administrative supplies are stocked.
- Address patient concerns or complaints with empathy and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Adhere to HIPAA and other confidentiality protocols to protect patient privacy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or a related field is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, patient management software).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare processes is advantageous.
