Responsibility
- Warmly greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Efficiently manage the appointment scheduling system, including phone inquiries, walk-ins, and online bookings.
- Accurately verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary medical authorizations.
- Collect and process patient payments, co-pays, and ensure financial records are balanced.
- Maintain organized patient files and electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate with clinical staff and medical technologists to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the facility.
- Address patient concerns or complaints with patience, empathy, and professional problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, front-desk administration, or a similar medical reception role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and appointment scheduling software.
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor while handling high-volume patient traffic.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail in documentation and financial record-keeping.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a health-related field is a distinct advantage.
- Deep commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data privacy standards (Data Privacy Act compliance).
