Responsibility
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Help patients with mobility, including transferring to and from wheelchairs or beds.
- Assist with feeding and ensuring patients receive proper nutrition and hydration.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including sanitizing equipment and rooms.
- Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals and report any changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other staff to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; certification in nursing or patient care is a plus.
- Proven experience in a healthcare or patient care setting, preferably as a nursing assistant or similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach with a commitment to dignity and respect.
- Physical stamina to assist with lifting, moving, and supporting patients.
