Responsibility
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle payments (cash, credit/debit cards, digital wallets) accurately.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring products are well-presented.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving stock, conducting stock checks, and reporting discrepancies.
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with patience and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Adhere to company policies, including health and safety guidelines, cash handling procedures, and loss prevention measures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling is a plus but not required—we provide training!
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages (e.g., Mandarin, Russian, Japanese) is an advantage.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering excellent service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively during peak hours.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the retail schedule.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule.
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and lift/move light to moderate inventory items (up to 10 kg).
