Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality English language instruction to students of varying proficiency levels, using ELSâs proven curriculum and methodologies.
- Create engaging, interactive, and student-centered lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations, feedback, and reporting.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that encourages active participation and language acquisition.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and academic staff to ensure consistency and alignment with program objectives.
- Utilize a variety of teaching resources, including digital tools and multimedia, to enhance the learning experience.
- Provide additional support to students through one-on-one tutoring, conversation practice, or specialized workshops as needed.
- Stay updated on best practices in ESL/EFL teaching and incorporate innovative techniques into your instruction.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field (Masterâs degree or TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English as a second or foreign language, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
- Strong command of the English language (native or near-native proficiency) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with communicative language teaching (CLT) and other modern ESL methodologies.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of diverse learners, including different age groups and proficiency levels.
- Professional, patient, and culturally sensitive with a passion for helping students succeed.
- Prior experience working in Southeast Asia or with international students is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings or weekends, as per the programâs schedule.
