Responsibility
- Lead and supervise outdoor adventure activities such as hiking, kayaking, and team-building exercises.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.
- Develop and implement engaging programs that promote teamwork, leadership, and personal growth.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to youth participants, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
- Conduct risk assessments and adhere to safety protocols for all activities.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create a cohesive and enjoyable camp experience.
- Maintain equipment and ensure all gear is in good working condition.
- Document participant progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in outdoor education, youth mentorship, or adventure sports.
- Certification in first aid and CPR (required).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic outdoor environment.
- Passion for working with youth and fostering their personal development.
- Physical fitness and ability to participate in outdoor activities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight as required.
- Knowledge of local flora, fauna, and environmental conservation is a plus.
