Responsibility
- Perform precise refraction tests to measure visual acuity and determine lens prescriptions.
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including pupil dilation and intraocular pressure checks.
- Operate advanced ophthalmic equipment (e.g., autorefractors, phoropters, tonometers).
- Educate patients on eye health, lens options, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with optometrists/ophthalmologists to interpret test results and recommend treatments.
- Fit and adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses for optimal comfort and vision correction.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in optometry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (1+ years) as a Refractionist, Optometrist Assistant, or Optician.
- Certification or diploma in Optometry, Ophthalmic Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in using ophthalmic instruments and diagnostic tools.
- Strong knowledge of lens types, coatings, and eye anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian (Bahasa).
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for patient care.
- Familiarity with EHR (Electronic Health Records) is a plus.
