Responsibility
- Provide 2nd-level IT support for Operations teams, resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Collaborate with the Operations IT Coordinator to troubleshoot and escalate complex IT incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitor and maintain enterprise IT systems, including ERP, MES, and other operational software, to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the implementation and integration of new IT solutions to streamline manufacturing and logistics processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations.
- Train and support end-users on IT systems, best practices, and security protocols to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or automation initiatives, to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection regulations to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, operations IT, or a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, including experience with Windows/Linux systems.
- Familiarity with ERP, MES, or industrial automation systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Siemens) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of IT security best practices and data protection regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with remote/hybrid work environments and proficiency in collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack).
