Responsibility
- Manage and organize administrative tasks related to ship agency operations, including documentation, scheduling, and client correspondence.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, port authorities, and clients to ensure timely and accurate processing of vessel arrivals and departures.
- Assist in preparing sales reports, proposals, and contracts to support business development initiatives.
- Maintain and update databases with vessel details, cargo information, and client interactions.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless communication between operations, sales, and finance departments.
- Handle invoicing, billing, and expense tracking for ship agency services.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Support the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative support, sales coordination, or shipping operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Familiarity with maritime terminology, port operations, or ship agency processes is advantageous.
