Are you an expert in container orchestration looking to take the next step in your career? Accion Labs is seeking a highly skilled OpenShift Platform Engineer to join our elite technology team in Makati City. In this role, you will be the backbone of our infrastructure, driving the design, deployment, and management of scalable, secure, and resilient containerized environments.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to modernize our application delivery pipelines, optimize platform performance, and ensure high availability across our production clusters. Responsibility
- Architect, deploy, and maintain robust Red Hat OpenShift clusters across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
- Automate platform operations using Ansible, Terraform, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) with OpenShift.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot complex cluster issues, and implement performance tuning for peak efficiency.
- Ensure robust security, identity management, and role-based access control (RBAC) across the platform.
- Manage upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of OpenShift clusters and underlying container runtime components.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams regarding containerization and microservices architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience specifically managing Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes administration and strong understanding of the underlying architecture.
- Expertise in Linux system administration (RHEL preferred) and scripting (Bash, Python, or Go).
- Proven experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Podman) and CI/CD tools.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related networking components.
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (EX280) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a collaborative enterprise setting.
