Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to identify therapeutic needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' independence in daily activities (e.g., self-care, work, leisure).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide hands-on therapy, including adaptive techniques, exercises, and assistive device training.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance safety and independence at home and in the community.
- Stay updated on best practices, research, and advancements in occupational therapy to deliver evidence-based care.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness in Bali’s diverse populations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid occupational therapy license or certification (e.g., PRC license for Philippine applicants or equivalent for international candidates).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and assistive technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in a diverse, international setting.
