Responsibility
- Lead and manage a team of NOC technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Oversee the monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise infrastructure, servers, and network operations.
- Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems, including virtualization platforms and cloud-based solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated technical issues and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for NOC operations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and analyze system logs, alerts, and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT management to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and capacity planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong technical background in network operations, server management, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, or MCSE are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
